Khon room

Khon is a Thai traditional dance combining many art forms. It has been performed for centuries and dates back to the 16th century (during the Ayutthaya period) in Thai history. It is traditionally performed only in the royal court by men in masks and the plays often depicted epic battle scenes that became famous throughout the world.

Our Khon guest room focuses on Hanuman, the main character in Ramayana and enables guests to actually try the Thai color pantone used for face painting. The room sleeps two in a traditional Thai bunk bed and will be a wonderful cultural experience allowing guests to relax in a cultural space unlike anywhere else.
