Our inspiration for the theme of this room comes from the very first branch of Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) in Noi Market. It is still in operations today and despite no longer housing the bank’s headquarters, it is a very historic and impressive building.
Siam Commercial Bank was the very first Thai bank to open, after being established by the royal charter in 1907. It is inextricably linked to King Rama V and therefore plays a very important part in the history of Thailand.
Our design for this room includes vault-like features designed to make the guest feel like they’re in the bank. The unique design focuses on history, comfort and luxury with high-class amenities, extremely comfy bunk beds and special touches such as original photos, signature books, letters and original banking paraphernalia.
